I was asked to attend a Toyland event on behalf of Walmart and Sverve. All opinions are my own.
It’s time to throw up the tinsel and break out the wrapping paper! Walmart’s Toyland has announced their top toys chosen by kids and it’s a list full of under-the-tree worthy gifts for children of all ages. I was asked to check out Walmart’s in-store Toyland event, take a look at their selection of Chosen By Kids toys and test one out for ourselves! We were given the Transformers Age of Extinction Mega 1-Step Bumblebee Figure! This fun Autobot allows you to play as Bumble bee as well as watch him transform into his car form with one swift motion. You can even shoot a wheel out of one of his arms to help defend against the Decepticons!
I brought my son with me to the in-store event and as soon as he spotted BumbleBee it was love at first site. He just couldn’t wait to get him home! We had fun cruising down the isles of Walmart’s Toyland and checking out the other toys available. I loved that Walmart had a great selection as well as having a good amount of each toy available, especially since while we were there a few other moms were grabbing BumbleBee as well. I also liked that Walmart offered an exclusive Mega 1-Step BumbleBee that came with a mini Stinger figure and it was the same price ($24.97) as the single toy!
Once out of the box, my son was able to get BumbleBee to flip between Autobot and car form very easily! The legs and arms fold into each other while the middle body folds down at the same time and VIOLA! He had a fun sports car with working wheels. As a mom I like that the toy is sturdy enough to endure lots of “flipping” action and it rolls really well across any floor. My son just can’t put it down, so I can certainly see that it was a toy chosen by kids!
As a big Walmart shopper, I always love how easy it is to find the best toys for my kiddos during the holidays. Being able to see the Chosen By Kids list has really helped me to pick out gifts I know my children will love!

Kids know which are the best toys! I love the Bumblebee, but I’m pretty sure I could buy that for my husband as well.

We have this toy for my son and he’s obsessed with it! And every single kid that comes to our house grabs it as soon as they see it.
What a great toy! Your little guy looks like he knows exactly what to do with it. And how fun that he got a great toy without having to wait for Christmas!

Awww your son looks like he si having fun. I love how they transfer into car/truck and then back. My son is turning into a teenager but he had a couple of these back in the day,…lol! Thanks for sharing.

This is a great toy! My son got the same one and now he wants the dinosaur one for Christmas. That one is REALLY cool, too!
I remember when I was little how much I loved the Transformers. They were always so fun to play with. When we visited New Orleans recently there was a guy that was a yellow “transformer” as part of his street act.
