Finding good shoes my son has always been a challenge for me. He has big, fat ADORABLE baby feet, but it seems finding shoes that actually fit him properly and still look cute is not an easy task. Thankfully I’ve found Jack & Lily! Jack & Lily create baby shoes specifically designed with growing feet in mind. We were able to test out a pair of Black Skull Jack & Lily shoes for ourselves! The first thing you notice is the packaging. The shoes came in a little windowed box with a handle on top, which is perfect for little ones to carry their shoes around. Once I took them out the box, I could feel how soft the leather was. The stitching around the sole and design is secure and the little pirate look is adorable! The bottoms of the shoes have 
an actual sole, unlike soft soled shoes that are only meant for indoor play, Jack & Lily My Shoes and My Boots soles are soft and flexible, but can be worn outside.
Putting them on my mini man was a snap with the Velcro straps! This was a relief since, his feet are chubby on top and lots of shoes won’t fit well over them. The shoes are also nice and wide, allowing for his feet to fit comfortably in them without being squashed. Once on, he was able to run, jump and play just as though he was barefoot! No weird walking stance or looking like he was uncomfortable in them at all. I could see when he walked, that the sole was moving with his foot and wasn’t constricting him to walking like a robot. This is very crucial when putting shoes on developing walkers. Using shoes with a bendable sole is a must when you have a relatively new walker. It gives babies that barefoot feel and helps develop their arches.
