We love that Summer is here! My kiddos are always outdoors, running, playing or splashing in our kiddy pool, but once their energy levels start to deplete I need something to help me quite them down and cool them off. That’s where the awesome new Family Options from Netflix come in! Once my kiddos start to wind down from the day, we gather in the living room, flip on the TV and choose from our favorite family friendly movies and shows on Netflix. We personally like the Are We There Yet, Classics and Get Ready For Preschool sections the best.
Did you know, Parents spend nearly double on summer entertainment than they do during the holidays. A one-year Netflix subscription costs less than taking a family of five on two trips to the movie theater and that’s without popcorn. Netflix delivers big entertainment without breaking the bank ($7.99/month).
With everything from My Little Pony to Disney movies, my kiddos are always ready to settle down and watch their favorite shows and movies. Not to mention it’s always fun for my kids to turn those shows and films into off screen activities. We print out color pages and my daughter likes to pretend to be her favorite characters.
Besides helping us to cool off from the Summer heat, Netflix also lets us make weekend movie nights easy! With all our favorite films in one spot, we can turn our living room into a personal movie theater. Just turn on the TV and choose the Family Movie Night section to flip through star worthy titles perfect for all of us. It’s so nice to be able to enjoy some home time with the kids and not worry about loading everyone up in the car to pay for over priced movie theater tickets. Now all we need is a 90 cent bag of popcorn and our TV remote! Not to mention it’s a lot easier to get the kiddos down for naps and bedtime when we are already home and not out and about.
With all the great family options now available on Netflix, there’s no reason not to love the instant availability of the service on our TV. If you haven’t yet tried Netflix, I highly recommend it! Netflix is supported on a number of devices from tablets, TV’s and smartphones, to Game Consoles and Laptops.
Netflix.com/Families is a new destination designed to meet your family’s summertime entertainment needs. On Netflix.com/Families, parents can find lists of movies and TV shows for all kinds of special summer moments.

We don’t have cable, and we have been hearing so much about netflix lately. We should give it a try! We just don’t care to pay for cable for a bunch of shows we don’t want to watch, but it would be cool to just pick and choose with netflix…

you know a few of the pictures aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.
I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same results.
