Get’n it together!
When our Joovy box arrived I couldn’t wait to open it! The stroller does require some assembly to get it going but nothing major. You’ll need to attach the wheels and the back seat if you’re wanting to have the second child sitting while riding. Total construction time for me was about 7 minutes! By the way, be sure to remove ALL the yellow foam pieces you see on the stroller. We won’t mention names, but someone didn’t pay attention and got all sorts of flustered trying to open the stroller while they were still on and couldn’t figure out WHY it wasn’t working. ( it was totally me)
After my yellow foam episode and the 7 minutes it took for me to slap the wheels on and apply the back seat, we were ready for some strolling! The Caboose Too Ultralight really is a great looking stroller. I love the style of it and the ability to have my older child sitting or standing is wonderful! The height of the stroller is perfect for me and the parent organizer is great!
Two ways to ride!
My kids were jumping to test out the new stroller so we decided to take it for a test run. My 2 year old fit comfortably in the front seat and had plenty of room even with the child tray attached. I really like the 5-point harnesses that help keep the kiddos secure. Having the shoulder straps makes me feel like my son can’t escape easily and is safely strapped in. My daughter couldn’t decide if she wanted to sit or stand, so we tried out both positions. Eventually she choose to stand so she could walk with mommy if she wanted to.
The parent organizer is wonderful! It’s a flexible fabric which allows me to keep sippy cups snug without them being bopped around from uneven ground. There’s even a zippered pocket on the outside that lets me keep my keys or phone safe. Plus, the large storage basket lets me tote along the diaper bag, snacks and anything else we may need. Once my daughter decided to go with the standing option, removing the second seat was a SNAP! I just unsnapped the buttons on the side of the seat, unbuckle the security strap in the back and out it came!
Out for a stroll!
The bench seat is awesome! It’s great to be able to have my older child walk along and then hitch a ride if she gets tired. The bench seat allows her to get the best of both worlds without the confinement to just being in a seat. The bench seat is padded so it’s nice and comfy to sit on. I also really like that the stand-on platform is positioned where the child can stand with their back against the push bar. This gives her something to lean on and me the ability to push without having to move around her.
I have to say, I’ve owned my share of strollers and none have been easier to maneuver and push as the Joovy Caboose Too Ultralight! It really is a joy to use. Both my kids fit great in the stroller and I am totally in love with the standing option! My daughter really liked being able to get out and move around and sit when she was tired. The linked parking brakes make it so much easier to keep the stroller in one place and the front swivel wheels making turning a breeze! I also really like that the snack tray is removable, plus it doesn’t crowd my little guy when he’s in the seat.
After a fun, successful and hot walk here in TX, it was time to put the Caboose Too to bed. Collapsing the stroller was much easier then I thought it would be considering the size. Simply pull up on the red triggers under the handle bar and push forward. The stroller collapsed quick and easy and it was ready for storing!
A perfect match!
When it comes to reliable, durable and quality baby gear, Joovy has my gold seal of approval! We absolutely love the Caboose Too Ultralight stroller. It’s everything I need as a parent for my kids and it provides a safe and secure space for them to ride. If you’re looking to add a new stroller to your family or looking for the perfect gift for an expecting mom, I highly suggest checking out the Joovy Caboose Too Ultralight Stand-On Tandem Stroller!
