Thank you to AT&T for providing me with a device to review. All opinions are my own.
If you’re an internet lover like me, you hate being anywhere without a connection to the magical world wide web. Being a blogger and social media addict, I am always depending on a reliable internet connection and since we are a military family we are constantly traveling to see our families. With being gone a lot due to blogging or traveling to family, I run into the issue of being in the car for hours with bad phone service or ending up somewhere that reliable internet just isn’t possible. Thankfully AT&T’s Unite Pro Mobile Hotspot has become my internet lifesaver when on the go!
The AT&T’s Unite Pro Mobile Hotspot is a Wifi hotspot device that offers the ability to have mobile WiFi anywhere you go! The Unite Pro offers an array of awesome features such as:
- Ability to connect up to 15 different WiFi devices
- Up to 16 hrs of battery life
- Intuitive touchscreen with virtual keyboard
- BatteryBoost feature lets you charge your smart phone
- Dual-Band WiFi technology allows you to maximize data transfer reliability and speed
- 4G LTE and supports LTE Advanced where available
- Works on the secured AT&T network offering password protection and guest passwords
I had the chance to test out the AT&T Unite Pro Mobile Hotspot for 30 days and I have to say it’s been amazing! In fact, it’s even faster then the internet we have at home through our cable service. Not to mention it’s super easy to set up. The device arrives with a pretty good charge to it and all you have to do is go online to ATT.com, establish a new account, register your device and select your plan. Within about 8 min I was all set up and ready to go! Once your device is set up, turn it on and you’ll see your usage meter that will let you know where you are in your current plan. To connect to a device just enter the password shown at the top of the screen and off you go!
The Unite Pro will connect you with the AT&T mobile broadband network and even gets you 4G LTE/4G service where it’s available. At just $49.99 with a 2 year contract you can’t go wrong! Don’t want a 2 year commitment? The Unite Pro can be purchased for $199.99 with two data plans available; a mobile share plan for $20 a month which shares in group data and a 5 GB data plan for $50 a month.
Curious about how much data 5GB will get you? Check this out! –
- 8,000 emails (25% with attachments)
- 500 social posts with photos
- 150 hours of web surfing
- 4 hours of HD video streaming
- 100 song downloads
So far I’ve traveled from Texas to California, back to Texas and then to Wisconsin all while using the AT&T Unite Pro Mobile Hotspot and it’s been more then great to me. I was able to connect my laptop, phone, my husbands phone and my daughter’s tablet all at once and this was just while we were in the car!! The device worked in areas where my phone didn’t even have service and the 16 hours of battery life really came in handy. If you’re looking for a great on the go internet option that’s MUCH more reliable then just rigging up your phone as a hotspot, I HIGHLY suggest grabbing an AT&T Unite Pro by NETGEAR Mobile Hotspot!

I struggle with finding reliable wi-fi while traveling! Most hotels internet connections are so slow. I think this would help me a ton so I can work while on the road!

I hate and I don’t usually hate anything this at &t unite pro hotspot. The 4 GB is not enough and it seems to be used up even if I don’t have it on. Going to have to look for another internet service since I can’t have the one I used before with at&t.
