Summer break is in full swing and it is HOT outside! Every kiddo is looking for a great way to cool off and what better then having a water park in your own back yard? Little Tikes makes water park fun at home possible with their inflatable water slides such as the Slam ‘N’ Curve Slide! The Slam ‘N’ Curve Slide offers kids the best of both worlds with a fun slide as well as a wading pool area to splash and play. The slide sets up in seconds and provides hours of great water fun for children ages 5-10 years old. With a weight limit of 350 lbs, the slide can hold it’s own while the kids climb and slide all day long!
We had the chance to test out the Slam ‘N’ Curve Slide and it beyond surpasses all my expectations! The slide comes with one blower, anchor stakes for the slide and blower, spray hose for top of the slide, storage bag, repair kit and inflatable basket ball for shooting through the hoop in the wading pool.
The slide and blower were really easy to set up. We spread out the slide and ties the air tube ends to the blower, switched it on and watched it grow! The slide was fully inflated within about 19 seconds and we could then stake it and the blower down for safety. We then filled the wading pool with some water and attached the spray hose up the side of the slide so that it could wet the slide as kiddos go down it.
I love that this slide is the perfect size for smaller back yards and that the rock wall to get to the slide is placed in a way that the kids don’t have to leave the inflatable to climb it. This is great considering it cuts down on getting dirt and grass into the wading pool area. We did put down a little mat for water shoes and so there would be a cleaner way to leave the slide without getting the water dirty.
We hosted a beach party at our home and the Slam ‘N’ Curve Slide was a massive hit with all the neighborhood kids! When we were done with the slide, we simple turned off the blower and as it deflated the water drained from the slide. We did let it sit in the sun a bit to let it dry off since you don’t want to store it still wet. The blower is pretty light weight compared to a heavy metal one we have which is nice.
The only thing I noticed about the slide was the turn at the bottom is a very harsh one. It would be nice if the wall of the slide cam up a bit more or if the curve of inflatable at the bottom was a little more spaced away from the slide to give kids more space. Some of the larger kids were almost flopping over the side when they went down because they were going so fast. Other then that, the slide is wonderful and a great way to get kids outdoors, keep them active and stay cool!

I’m dying to get one of these for my kids. They love bounce houses but I’d like to mix it up with some water because bounce houses can get HOT in the sun!
I know my boys would have a blast if we owned something like that! Maybe one day.

We have a slide very similar to this. It was one of those things I thought we wouldn’t use that often. Boy was I wrong! LOVE IT!

Our neighbors regularly rented a slide until they realized how affordable it was to get their own. This is what they ended up with and it was a neighborhood lifesaver!

You’ve got the cool house in the neighborhood! That is such a sweet set-up and I’m amazed it inflates so quickly.
