I wrote this review while participating in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Playskool. I received product samples to facilitate my party and review, and a promotional item to thank me for participation.
Being a mommy to 3 littles, we are always encountering different toys. One of our favorite brands is Playskool. They’ve always brought so much fun and joy to my kiddos and we know they’re built with little hands in mind. Recently we had the opportunity to host a Playskool, Let’s imagine Elmo in-home party and had the chance to discover a few of Playskool’s newest additions including:
- Stack n Spin Monkey Gears
- Mr. Potato Head Transformers Mixable Mashable Heroes as Optimus Prime and Grimlock Figures
- Let’s Imagine Elmo
We were able to invite a few of my children’s friends over to discover the new toys with us and have a fun Playskool themed play-date. Of course tell a group of kids that there are new toys and cupcakes waiting for them, you’re sure to have a pandemic of excited tiny people on your hands. Needless to say once everyone got their hands on the toys, including the star of the show, Let’s Imagine Elmo; they were all having a blast!
It was adorable to watch the kids light up as much as the bright lights of the Stack ‘N Spin Monkey Gears do when it’s middle button is pushed. They liked seeing the gears spin and hearing the fun music. I loved seeing them all putting together and taking apart the Mr. Potato Head Mashable Heros and everyone wanted a turn with Elmo! I have to say the Let’s Imagine Elmo Doll is super cute! He helps kids to imagine different scenes and situations by swapping the different hats he comes with. Elmo can be either a prince, a cowboy or a sea captain and he brings the children right along with him on his adventures. It seemed the sea captain hat and the prince’s crown were the most popular and of course all the kids were trying on the hats themselves!
Watching children play and discover something new is such a magical experience. It’s like watching a flower bloom right before your eyes. It’s even more of a special experience for a parent since we have the chance to watch our children grow a little bit right in front of us. Playskool and their new toys are helping kids do just that every time they play. Our party was a wonderful success and both kids and parents seemed to have a great time with the new toys. Of course indulging in a cupcake or two never hurts either!
