I was supplied with certain #disneykids products through MomSelect. All opinions are my own.
There’s nothing more exciting to me than experiencing Disney magic as a kid. I remember as a child, everything that embodied Disney parks, movies, shows, books, games or clothing were always number one on my “I want” list. I’ve been a Disney nerd since I can remember and I love being able to share that love with my family and friends. Recently I was asked to host a #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate and help a few little Disney fans let out their inner #DisneySide and explore their imaginations!
I decided to throw a pirate and princess themed #DisneyKids Prechool Playdate and said of course, that costumes were perfectly good attire! It was beyond adorable to see all the little pirates, princesses and one Sebastian walking into the party all dressed up and with huge smiles on their faces.
I had set up 3 different Disney Parks stations. This made is easy for the guests to acquaint themselves with the different Disney Parks and add a little fun to it! We had the Magic Kingdom Food Station, offering fun finger foods such as silver dollar sandwiches, fruit, pink princess goldfish crackers, teddy grahams, juice, princess starbursts and pirate Swedish fish and rolo treasures!
The second station was the Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios Goodie Bag Station. Here, the kids were able to build their own Disney Junnior backpack goodie bags and stuff them full of fun Disney themed toys and books including, a kite, bubbles, a #DisneyKids map, A Lion Guard poster, figure and tattoos as well as choose a fun Mickey & Friends book.
The third station was the Epcot reading station where all the kiddos and parents got to sit down and enjoy a really neat book, My Very, Very Smelly Breath by Ray Nelson. This fun book features interactive scratch & sniff pages that let the kids really become part of the story as they smell what the dogs are smelly when one of them has stinky or not so stinky breath. I will warn you to stay away from the garlic page though as it REALLY stinks! The kids had a great time passing the book around and sniffing the different pages.
After reading our book, the kids played for a while and then we all put on our Sophie The First Crowns or Jake And The Neverland Pirate’s Hats and danced around to some fun Disney songs. The kids really liked being able to put the hats on themselves and even the babies were excited to wear them!
We all talked about our favorite Disney memories, movies and even talked about the amazing vacation opportunities and special they offer. The kids and adults seemed to have a great time and it’s always fun watching children’s imaginations bloom. I think Disney just so happens to be pretty good at making dreams come true!
We had a great turn our and our #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate was a big success! Do you plan on hosting a Disney themed party soon? If so, what theme are you going with?
