Thank you to LeapFrog and Mommy Parties for providing me with a sample to review. All opinions are my own.
A new way to learn is here with LeapFrog’s latest educational learning toy ; LeapTV! LeapTV is a new, active video game system designed for youngsters to help build important skills and stay active through fun. We were able to test out the new LeapTV system and my kiddos love it! LeapFrog has been a brand my family has played with for years now so knowing they were involved in creating the content of the games made me even more excited to see my kids interact with it.
A few of the awesome features LeapTV has to offer include:
- Get minds and bodies moving with LeapTV, the educational, active video gaming system built just for kids ages 3-8 years.
- Teaches reading, mathematics, science and problem solving skills. (Games sold separately.)
- Easy to play 3 ways: body motion, pointer play and classic control. Transforming controller works in two modes.
- Includes console, camera, mount, transforming controller, HDMI cable, AC power adapter, 16GB of memory and built-in Wi-Fi/Ethernet port for downloads.
- Works with 100+ LeapFrog educator-approved LeapTV cartridge games, game downloads and videos; kids will never run out of fun!
We decided to invite a few friends over to play with the new LeapTV and needless to say, it’s been a major hit! I know all the parents were happy to see their kids playing, learning and exercising all at the same time!
I think it’s really neat how the controller can transform for active play. I also like that it’s easy for my daughter to do it on her own.
All the kids were able to figure out the gaming system with little help and through watching each other. We played with the two games that were provided, the Sports game and the Dance & Learn game. Both were VERY popular. I think my favorite was the sports and watching the kiddos bowl, skateboard and even swim! The fact that the the directions for all the games are said to the kids through LeapFrog characters also helps them be able to independently work the system themselves which is nice.
If you’re looking for a great way to keep your kids entertained and learning I believe the LeapTV is the perfect device to keep them active!
