Help Luvs donate 10,000 diapers to local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals! #LuvsBOYB

There’s nothing like helping a child in need.  Luvs understands this and has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to make sure local children are getting the health care they deserve.  Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raise funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across North America. Every minute, 62 kids enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital for treatment and EVERY child, regardless of a family’s ability to pay is treated! Because they never turn a child away, the CMN provides $3.4 billion in charitable care every year (care for which they are not reimbursed).

What’s even more amazing is that the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provide 32 million treatments to 10 million kids every year! Walmart has been one of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ largest corporate partners for 27 years, so far raising more than $700 million to help local children’s hospitals provide the best care, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

One of these kiddos is Josh Miller. Josh is 5 and was born without tibia (the shin bones) in his legs.  He has prosthetic legs and has already had multiple surgeries in his young life, including heart surgery. Josh was able to receive amazing treatment from the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, part of the CMN. Since then, Josh has become somewhat a spokes person for the CMN, encouraging others to help keep the network alive through donations and letting others know of the amazing good they are doing for local children across the country.

Josh will be appearing on this year’s season of Bet On Your Baby! The show “Bet On Your Baby” will air 8 episodes between May 31-July 19 and features toddlers ages 2-5 competing against themselves in a series of tasks/activities. The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals episode (airing June 14th) is going to feature Josh Miller and his parents Laura & Michael!

To gear up for the show and to give everyone a chance to help the CMN out, Luvs is sponsoring a twitter party on June 14th, 8-9pm EDT. During the twitter party you can help donate Luvs diapers by tweeting with the hastag,  #LuvsBOYB! For every tweet including the hashtag, Luvs will donate 1 diaper to the CMN, up to 10,000 diapers!! That’s a lot of baby bums to cover!

It’s never easy to hear that a child is in need of medical care. It’s beyond imperative that we help keep organizations such as the CMN alive to help out those who have kids in need of such life saving treatments. If attending a twitter party is all you need to do to help a kiddo in need, I’d say that’s pretty worthwhile!
