Summer is officially here and down in South Texas it is HOT! In fact it’s been so hot that heat advisories have been posted for the last few weeks so our kiddos have been trying to find fun ways to play inside. Of course when one thinks about fun indoor activities, playing in a pool normally isn’t what comes to mind, however with our H2OGO Doodle Glow Pool, we’ve been able to turn the heatwave blues into an indoor oasis!
The H2OGO Doodle Glow Pool allows kids to create fun, glowing sea critters and other creations on it’s fluorescent floor with the two included waterproof LED flashlights. The drawings last for about 20 seconds and then safely fade away allowing for more glowing fun to be made. The 147 gallon Doodle Glow Pool can easily hold our family of 5 and it’s double inflatable walls make it super durable.
We inflated the pool with an air mattress pump that we had (you must use a pump as the air hole is too large to be blown up manually) in about 2 minutes and the kids were ready to have some fun. The flashlights were a bit tricky to figure out when it came to inserting the batteries but eventually we figured it out. They do have a waterproof ring that goes along the inside of the flashlight top which if removed will hinder it no longer waterproof, so be sure not to loose this part!
The doodle area is big enough for my 2 big kids to draw on and we had a blast creating different sea creatures with the included stencils. I loved that the flashlights were easy for the kids to use and the light creations really turned out in the light and with the lights turned off. My kids have been playing in the pool for hours over the past few days and really love it! Plus, it’s great that it’s a pool large enough for all 5 of my family to fit in when we do decide to take it outdoors.

What a cool pool! my kids would love one!
Love how they can make those neat light designs!
Now this is something I wish I had as a kid! How fun and great for indoor and outdoor play!
How in the world did you get the batteries in? I’ve tried multiple ways, nothing. Teach me your ways.
Does it have to be dark to use this
