When it comes to being a mom, especially a mom with a new baby, finding time for yourself is pretty much non-existent. From the moment that child is born till the day they turn 18 a mother’s day is full of worry, messy floors, food fights, laundry, cooking, diapers, running around, nap times, school, after school activities, home work, more worry, but above all, hope. Hope that her children will grow and learn the ways of life through living what she has taught them. A mother’s hope is always that her children will go on to lead good and honest lives and be happy. BUT in between all hoping and praying, there isn’t always time for a mother to slow down and get the chance to tend to her own needs.
Thankfully Pampers understands that mom and dads need a break some times which is why they asked me to help give the gift of sleep to a family I felt was in need of a little “Me” time! I was so excited to have the chance to participate in this campaign, especially since I had the perfect family in mind.
My neighbors across the street have 2 little girls and recently just had their first son. The father is in the Coast Guard but will soon be heading to seminary school for 4 years. It will be a struggle for all of them, but it’s what they know is right and will be the best for their family in the long run. I know they’ve been under a lot of stress lately with the new baby and and waiting to see if the father would be picked up to attend the seminary school he is hoping for. With all this on their plate I thought they could definitely use a break!

My kiddos have been Pampers babies since we had them. I’ve never once been let down by the brand and I know my kids were and are always covered when sporting Pampers! My favorite are the Baby Dry, they work wonders for my son, especially at night time.
I had such a blast going shopping to create the gift basket! I went to one of my all time favorite stores, World Market and found everything I needed! Thanks to World Market’s array of items from around the world, I was able to use these to create the perfect relaxation gift basket complete with comfy socks, unique bath and body products, candles, and of course chocolate! It was so much fun getting it all together and ready to present to my friends. Once everything was all put together I just had to get her over to my house to present it!
It was such a heart warming experience gifting the gift of sleep to my good friend and her family. Seeing her reaction was worth every moment I spent putting it together. Plus I know it was a much needed act of kindness that they were needing to get their minds off other things. It feels so good to know you were able to bring a moment of happiness to someone you care about! She was super excited about the gift basket and the Pampers diapers, since you can never have too many with a new baby in the house! This was a wonderful experience and one of the most fun campaigns I’ve been a part of, Thanks Pampers!
