To say my children love Pocoyo would be an understatement. Every time the show comes on NickJR our living room turns into a dance hall. My kiddos start dancing, jumping and playing along with Pocoyo, Ellie, Pato and the rest of the gang. If you aren’t familiar with Pocoyo, it’s a show geared towards preschoolers that follows a rambunctious little boy and his friends as they discover the meaning of friendship, right from wrong and how to handle their feelings. The show features bright colors, child-like situations and language easy for young kids to understand.
Learning Through Laughter!
We’ve had the chance to review the latest straight to DVD release of the show, Pocoyo’s Circus! The DVD features 8 fun filled episodes of engaging fun for kids along with teachings about creativity, imagination, expressing feelings and more. Pocoyo’s Circus follows Pocoyo and his friends as they meet a curious group of circus aliens. Pocoyo and his gang are treated to a fun circus adventure but along the way things get a bit jumbled. It’s up to Pocoyo and friends to save the circus and the day!
We have loved every minute of Pocoyo’s Circus and my kids have asked to watch it every morning since receiving the DVD. As a parent, I love that it’s engaging for my kids to watch as well as teaching them values and encouraging them to use their imaginations. My kiddos always seem to be empowered after watching Pocoyo and never seem to get tired of helping him and his friends learn how to better themselves.
