Bring some extra cooking fun to playtime with the Pretend & Play Cooking Set from Learning Resources! This fun play set includes everything your little budding chef needs to cook up some pretend grub.
The set includes a tea kettle, frying pan with lid, two pots that share a lid, and six utensils. The set is brightly colored and the handles are nice and large, making them easy to grip with little hands.
My kiddos really like the removable lids and the array of utensils they have to choose from. All the items in the set are the perfect size for any play kitchen and are large enough to fit play food in.
The only itch I have about the set is the light weight plastic it’s made out of. It does seem a bit thin when it comes to the business ends of the utensils. This seems like it could make it prone to snap or bend too easily; however, as long as your kiddos aren’t stepping, sitting on, or being extremly rough with them I think you’d be fine. My kids seem to love the set and it brings extra fun to our kitchen time. They even help me prepare dinner with their pretend dishes! All in all I give the Pretend & Play Cooking Set a Fairy B+!
You can find the Pretend & Play Cooking Set at Learning Resouces website. The set retails for $17.99.
