When it comes to diaper bags, I’ve always been super picky about the ones I choose. They need to be large, attractive, easy to clean and above all, durable. I’ve gone through so many with my kids, I’d begun to think I’d never find the “perfect” bag. Thankfully Ju-Ju-Be has taken the best of the fashion world and merged it with the latest in microbe and anti-stick technology to create a line of Mom perfect bags that will have any parent jumping for joy! New for 2013, they’ve unveiled a whole new set of beautiful and funky prints for their most popular bag lines. My favorite is their new Charcoal Roses print!
The Perfect Everything Bag!
I was given the chance to test out Ju-Ju-Be’s Be Prepared Bag in their new, Charcoal Roses print. After years of going through diaper bags, I honestly think I’ve officially found the PERFECT diaper bag for me! Besides looking great, the Be Prepared bag offers an array of awesome features that any mom would love! Some of my favorites are:
- Full zip-down mommy pocket for easy access
- Large main zipper pocket for easy access
- Includes a memory foam changing pad
- Picture pocket to keep photos handy
- 2 exterior insulated bottle pockets with Thinsulate by 3M.
- Structured bottom with luggage feet
- Color-coded tabs for organizing items for multiple children
- Tote handles can be tucked away and hidden when not in use
- Outer material is coated with Teflon so stains don’t stick!
- AgION Antimicrobial Lining kills germs, mold, mildew, fungus, bacteria, and other bad stuff
- Crumb Drains … bye-bye mess!
- Metal Hardware
- Machine Washable! Yup, you can toss this baby in the washing machine and just air dry!
The first thing I noticed about the Be Prepared Bag is that unlike other diaper bags that are “stain free” this one isn’t coated in a sticky plastic, shiny plastic. I love that the Teflon coating allows the beautiful fabric prints to look natural instead of covered in a shiny outer layer. The inside is a gorgeous teal satin material and I love that it’s anti-microbial! Being a mom means dealing with lots of nasty happenings on the go and knowing that a leaky bottle, melted snacks or dirty diaper won’t ruin my beautiful bag is a HUGE plus!
I’m A Ju-Ju-Be Believer!
Having a bag large enough for me to fit everything I need for my kiddos was always an issue I had. The Be Prepared Bag offers loads of space! The bag includes a massive main pocket, 2 bottle holders on the sides, a Mommy Pocket in front, an extra pocket for storing the changing pad and lots of organizational pockets in the main area for storing diapers, snacks wipes and more. Another great feature is that the bag unzips all the way down to the sides which allows you to see into the bag much easier, plus the interior is a nice light color so items stick out. No more diving into a black hole to find that pacifier!
The Be Prepared Bag gives you the option of using it as a shoulder or tote bag which is nice and the tote handles can be tucked in when not being used. I also love that the Be Prepared Bag works as a fun fashion forward carry-on for traveling with or without the kiddos! Being a military family we travel a lot so having reliable bags is a must! Did I mention the bag is TOTALLY machine washable?! That’s right, you can pop it in the washer and just air it dry!
Thank heaven for Ju-Ju-Be and their ability to put everything I’ve been looking for in a diaper bag into their line of functional, smart, versatile and gorgeous line of bags!
