The holidays are on the rise and it’s that time of year when us parents start to make our shopping lists. When it comes to my 4 year old daughter I know anything that screams princess or Disney will be a home run. Thankfully Jakks Pacific has released a new line of Disney Princess & Me Dolls that are sure to make any little girl feel like royalty! The 18 inch dolls are the perfect size for hosting tea parties and playing dress up and feature everything from life-like eyes to stunning gowns!
We were given the chance to test out Cinderella and Ariel from the Princess & Me, Jewel Edition Collection. Each doll offers an array of great features that make them perfect for collecting and playing, including:

My first impression was just how beautiful the actual dolls were! Their facial features were detailed and made them look engaging and real. The dresses each one were wearing fit their persona’s and also offered loads of detail. I knew my daughter would totally flip once she say them!
The first doll we opened was Cinderella who was absolutely gorgeous! I’m not a doll collector but I can totally see why an adult would want to collect these dolls. The details in the facial features, eyes and dress are amazing. I love that she’s easily able to stand, my daughter always gets frustrated when her dolls won’t stand so having this one do it easily is a plus! Cinderella’s hair was incredibly soft and evenly distributed. I can’t stand when a doll with hair like this has “bald spots” so to speak and when the hair moves you can see the scalp. The doll also had easy to move appendages and could sit nicely.
Next up was Ariel! This was my personal favorite since The Little Mermaid has been my favorite movie since I was a child. Just like Cinderella, her facial features truly let her personality shine though. Her vibrant red hair was just as soft and I loved how her tail also went along as a dress. Both dolls feature a soft middle body which makes them perfect for hugging and holding close. I really like the visible differences in their faces and eyes.
Both dolls truly are gorgeous! The only thing I felt was missing was that the dolls only come with one outfit and I was a bit surprised they didn’t include a hair brush or a comb. They do come with a mini Princess Magazine that tells them how they can sign up to get mail from their favorite princesses which is really neat!
When it comes to the holidays, finding that perfect gift can be hard. But if you have a little princess at home like I do, you’re sure to hit a home run with the Princess & Me Doll Collection by Jakks Pacific!
