Thank you to Simplay3 for providing a Game Day Push About Helmet. All opinions are my own.
It’s officially football season and for our family, that means it’s Packer’s season. With a husband born and raised in WI and 2 out of 3 of my kiddos born in Green Bay, The Packer’s will always be our big football team. One of the games we look forward to every year is when they play their biggest rival, the Chicago Bears!
To get tailgate ready for the big rival game this year, I’ve repurposed our Game Day Push About Helmet from Simplay3 to help out. Take a look at 3 easy ways you can repurpose this mini-fan favorite toy to become a tailgate superstar!
1) Turn it into a cooler
There’s nothing worse than arriving at your tailgate spot and having to drag a heavy cooler out of the car. We decided to repurpose our Packer colored Game Day Push About Helmet into a mobile cooler!
I lined it with a trash bag to keep the ice in and to stop leaks from the holes in the bottom of the helmet and then filled it with our favorite drinks (both adult and kid friendly) and a few popsicles. As a cooler, the Game Day Push About Helmet certainly held its own, as well as a 12 pack, 4 pouch juices and 8 popsicles!
2) Turn it into a mobile backpack
We always end up with more stuff than we can carry whenever we tailgate or head to a friends house to watch the game.
Turning our Game Day Push About Helmet into a mobile backpack was a great way for us to carry all our Packer gear to where we needed to go and leave our hands free to hold drinks or maybe a tailgate burger or two.
3) Turn it into a toddler carrier
Of course, taking kids with you to the game, there’s always one child who can’t walk as fast as the others. That’s where using the Game Day Push About Helmet as it’s intended to be used really comes in handy.
Not only is it a great way to move your toddler around, it gives them a fun football shaped steering wheel to play with, a tray for snacks and a cup holder for their own gameday sippy. There’s even an adjustable seatbelt for added safety. The long handle makes pushing the helmet a breeze and assembly only took about 20 minutes!
The only thing that could possibly make the Game Day Push About Helmet even better was if the front wheels were caster wheels making a little bit easier to turn.
Whether you’re in need of a cooler, mobile backpack or toddler carrier, the Game Day Push About Helmet is certainly the best way to sport your fandom and maximize your tailgating!
