Thanks to Visit Houston for providing me with a City Pass to review. All opinions are my own.
If you’ve ever gone on a road trip with the family, you know there is always atleast one attraction everyone wants to see. On our recent visit to Houston, TX our’s was the Houston Children’s Museum! Luckily the Houston CityPass made it easy for my whole family to see the best sites in Houston plus receive great discounts on admission and more. The CityPass is available in 11 different cities and offers an array of awesome discounts, admission and a guide to the city’s best attractions, restaurants and more. Each CityPass cost differs per city so be sure to see if your destination offers the CityPass and what rate they are asking.
We chose to use out CityPass to visit the Houston’s Children’s Museum and the kids absolutely loved it! The CityPass granted us one free admission and the museum also offered a military discount which we were able to use as well. The museum offerd 3 stories of fun for kids of all ages. The main floor has an entire town section where kids can learn and pretend to be everything from a mail carrier to a veterinarian. There is also a room full of telephones and a giant made out of phone parts! The lower level offers tons of science fun and crafts for kids to learn about motion, wind, measurement and more. The top level is entirely for infants and toddlers to play as well as a balcony area with outdoor toys.
My kids had a blast at the Houston Children’s Museum! The kids loved the town area the most and being able to go in and out of the different buildings. They also loved the science section on the lower level and were able to make their own Lego race cars and watch them race down a big track!
If you’re planning on taking a family trip to Houston or another big city soon, I highly suggest checking out the CityPass and seeing if one if offered in your area. It’s a great way to save money and see the sites all at once! They even make great stocking stuffers!

That’s a great idea. I am trying to figure out what we are going to do for our next vacation. I definitely need to check into CityPass.

The Children’s Museum would have been our first choice too – it can be as much fun for adults as kids! We have an annual membership to our children’s museum here in Denver, and we even got married at the Austin Children’s Museum when we lived in Texas!

I’ve used CityPASS in NYC and it was phenomenal! It was so handy to have all your tickets in advance and skip those sometimes long waits for tickets at the attraction. I’ll definitely use CityPASS in the future.

This looks like great fun. We go to Houston a few times a year but never really “vacation” there. I am going to bookmark the site so I can remember.

I love museums. We checked out a children’s museum in Greenville, SC and a natural sciences museum in Raleigh, NC this year. If we ever head to Houston, this museum will be on our list.
