As a new Mom, we seem to have these ideas of grandeur about what life will be like once we start a family. How fun it will be to show off our baby, how cute it’ll be to dress them in tiny clothes, how we will have the most adorable little person on the planet that can do no wrong and so on. I’m about to welcome my third baby to our family in August and going through pregnancy for the third time has made me realize how much infanite Mom wisdom I have compared to when I was a first time mom. If me now could meet me then, I’d have an entire dictionary of Momisims to share with myself!
Since I know I’m not the only Mom out there with wisdoms learned through parenting, I’m looking to create an article including Momisims from experienced Moms everywhere! Think of it as a real life “What To Expect” when becoming a Mom database full of fun, funny, friendly, probably a little awkward advice for new moms to take in while on their first motherhood journey.
If you’d like to lend your Mom wisdom to my article, feel free to fill out the form below. If your Momisim is chosen to be included you will be notified via email.
Thanks for offering up your Mom wisdom and check back at the end of July to see what advice other Moms are offering!

One valuable thing I learned was to stay as healthy as possible through my pregnancy. Exercise when you can and eat right.

The best advice that was ever given to me was to parent my own way. There’s no Other mom just like me.

Oh I can’t wait to see this project when it’s complete! I am too tired to think of anything- maybe that’s my Momism- you’ll lose your mind completely when your newborn doesn’t let you sleep! {Okay, maybe don’t tell expectant moms that. Might scare them.}

enjoy the little things. i try my best to remember that day to day

What a splendid idea! the best advice I can offer new moms is to take care of your own needs first. I know it sounds a little counter intuitive but it you neglect yourself and fall apart no one benefits.. It’s the old airplane metaphor: put your own mask on first so you don’t pass out trying to save your baby 🙂

Howdy just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the pictures aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.
