Design stunning holiday cards in minutes with Minted.com! #holiday

It’s almost holiday season and we all want to make sure to get our holiday cards out to family and friends in time. Minted.com makes it easy to design your own photo holiday cards right on their site with hundreds of new and unique designs to choose from! I went through their design process myself and was stunned with how fast and easy it was. I’ve made holiday cards online for a few years now and it can be a daunting process trying to size things and making sure my photos are the right format. With Minted.com, I don’t have to worry about any of that since their design experience is meant to be as painless as possible and give you gorgeous results in a few simple steps.

Step 1: Choose a design

For me, this is always the hardest part! Minted.com just released tons of gorgeous photo card designs for the holidays plus new foil-pressed cards! I chose this stunning foil-pressed card and loved the look of the rose gold colored foil. I chose a flat card but they do offer a folded version as well. I like that I can choose my quantity and paper type and see the price at the same time.

 

Step 2: Make it yours

Minted.com makes adding your own special touches to their designs super easy. This foil-pressed card offered 3 different foil colors as well as different background colors. Editing the text was simple; all I had to do was click on the text boxes and edit to my liking. You can change the text size, font and position. You can also choose to add a background to the back of your card or a photo/s along with text. Since we welcomed a new baby girl this Summer, I decided to add a photo of her and a little blurb to tell our friends and family how much we love them. Adding the photo was really easy! I was asked to upload a picture and Minted.com automatically sized it and let me maneuver it to the position I liked.

 

Step 3: Create your envelopes

I love that Minted.com offers the option create custom envelopes. You can add the addresses of your friends and family to be printed as well as your own return address. Plus, Minted.com is offering free envelope designs for a limited time! I chose this fun Special Delivery design and love how it turned out. You can also choose to add a little color to the inside of your envelope with the 3 different inserts available.

 

Step 4: Approve your project

Once your card and envelope are designed, take a look at your total project and see how it will look once you receive it. I like that I get to see the card and the envelop together. You can also see the price breakdown of your entire order plus Minted.com gives you a heads up as to what to expect once your order is placed.

 

My entire design process on Minted.com only took me about 5 min! Granted it took me a little longer to choose my design but who wouldn’t want to look through all the fun holiday photo card possibilities they have? I can’t wait to see the stunning design I chose in person, I think the foil-pressed lettering is going to give it a really special touch, not to mention the adorable little chunk of a baby on the back!
